Humpty-dumpty in the waterfall!!
Hey folks!!
What's up?? Hoping everything is fine.
In my case, today my mom was in such a mood-a very GOOD mood that my breakfast was Pancakesπ₯!! Hope my mom has the same mood everyday. But I am very careful of not asking what kinda mood she is in, incase she gets irritatedπ.
Todays blog is going to be Hilarious, Scary, Terrific... you name it (after reading the blog of course) by commenting it on the comment section; tag along with #THATWAS-- (fill the dashes with what you want).
A few days ago I was in Chikmagalur. Oh! it was so green with so many estates, most of it was coffee estate.
So on day two of being in Chikmagalur, we went to 'Hebbe falls'. The falls is somewhere inside the forest. You cant actually see it. To see it you will have to walk deep into the forest. It was a really huge waterfall. To get there first we had to go off-roading (in a jeep), it was cool and exciting except for the part that I banged my head at least 9 times! and then we need to walk.
The ride was a really loooong one. The jeep stopped and after which we had to go on foot for more 10 minutes to see the falls. Walking was not the problem, there were Tigers in the forest (no barricades either), hence the tigers were loose.
To make things even better, my dad showed me the dead body of a deer that was probably left by the Tigers (how goodπ)
I kept looking leftπ and rightπ (I guess I didn't look straight while walking at all). All of a sudden I heard a sound (the sound of walking on dead leaves). MY heart did a back flip, sorry front flip I guess.. oh! whatever, my heart skipped a beat. With my eyes scanning the forest, I turn back to see my parents were still smiling and talking. I thought, 'probably they didn't hear anything'. But I was sure it was a Tiger. Then I heard the same sound again. I looked towards the direction of the sound and felt like slapping myself. IT WAS A BIRD.ππ
My my heart still kept doing some sort of somersaults (if you cant read that I wrote-somersaults). On the way I saw a cave, my heart flipped (again), then I saw it was a man. I was kinda relieved. Then with a lot of fear (only I was scared) we reached the falls.
Oh! how HUGE and magnificent it was.
So my parents asked me to climb the rocks for a picture (the way my brother is standing) and I am admitting that I am a total scaredy-cat. But to be honest I am not that scared of height. My mother warned me to remove my shoe so I wont slip, but I didn't do it. So in the process of climbing my leg slipped and I was lucky I didn't fall. But trust me it was scary.
After seeing the falls, my mother started complaining to me ," You didn't enjoy the falls because of your fear... why would tigers come?"
And I ask, "Why won't they?"
"Because they only come if they are hungry"
"What if they are hungry?? like now?" ,I asked.
My mom looked at my face and said, "We (mom and dad) are there, so no need to be scared"
To be honest that was so sweetπ.
Then my dad jumped in saying, "Why are you scared when you have a dad like me. If a tiger comes all you have got to tell it is 'I am Jaison's daughter' and then the tiger will go."
{I felt relieved when this was told, I started laughing like crazy. Just imagine my dad telling a tiger to stop in Tiger-ish. LOL}
To be true papa, that (I am Jaison's daughter) will be the last thing I will tell the tiger.π
But I didn't like the idea of Tigers coming, so I changed the subject by telling, "I am hungry."
On our way back to the jeep, I was so close to my mom, she kept laughing at my fear. Okay, I don't blame her. Why was I so scared when several people go there?
All I have got to tell is #THATWAS-ANEXPERIENCE
Just a small reminder, always wear a mask when you are out and next to people. We removed the mask only when there was no one around and only for pictures. Stay safe!!
Till I come back with a new 'Evergreen' and 'everliving' experience of mine....GOOD BYE!! TAKE CARE!!✌☮
