My journey😇
Hey cranberries!!!
Today I am sharing one of my journey's. Not a holiday-type journey but a medical journey. This journey was an amazing and crazy one with lots of UPS and DOWNS in between. I am grateful for all the people who was with me and helped me.
Sorry guys! this one's gonna be a lil bit serious🥴
It all started on 25th of January, a day after a glorious 12 year Birthday. I was made to put on something, an instrument that many people say is painful, but I never got any pain. But I was wrong, that night, I got pain and the pain got really severe. I got horrible headaches and every food I ate, made it 2 times painful. Brushing was WORLD WAR-III. I took medicines that were told to take if the pain got worse.
I few weeks later, the pain ceased. But the rate of discomfort remained at it's peak. You know that sudden restless feeling that comes, like you want it to get over? I got it all the time.
Ones, after an extraction, my mom decided that we have dinner out. I was not ready. The Anaesthesia was still active. I felt as though that place was swollen. I Couldn't feel if my mouth was wide open to eat (LOL). But anyway I had fun. I was bleeding and I was numb.
But as months passed things were going smooth until......
I had to go through the worst. I can never endure pain (I am a cotton candy). They (medical genius) put their tools to action and all I remember was after the Anaesthesia wore of, the painfully awful pain. I bled. I couldn't eat, but managed to drink milk.
Well after that, pretty much nothing crazy took place and everything was going great until (again).... I had to break the instrument in my mouth. I was so tensed but the doctor said it was normal. He even told when it breaks, it's good, as that gives a temporary relief to the mouth.
Every month we paid regular visits and got our comments and I followed everything they said, 'cause I was afraid for the worst (I never dare to dare).
Well anyway its been approximately 4 years of having this at at last its all over. From a clumsy city to a clear sky. I got rid of my BRACES !!!
But yea! I got my retainers...
They are not comfortable at all, but I'll get used to it soon..
ANYWAY,
SPECIAL NOTE!!!!
For those of you going to wear- Don't listen to what other say, trust me you will love the end result. Like they say No pain no gain.
For those who are wearing- Good luck and listen to the dentist.
For those who got rid of it- Thank your dentist and flash that HOLLYWOOD smile baby!!
Awesome one as Evelin comes home with a victory, having so won WWIII.

ReplyDeletethanks for sharing your experience! I got my braces on the 24th of April (around 2 weeks ago). Went through some terrible toothaches, but I'm fine now. I lived on baby food for almost a week, lol. Anyways, your blog truly motivates me and I'm sure it will help me go through the rest of my journey with the braces. It's a little painful, but I know it's worth it.
Also, happy for you :) hoping to see that shiny Hollywood smile of yours ;)
